As promised, 2013 eye candy is appearing on a daily basis which brings me to today’s topic. Is it cross season yet? Ok, lets be honest, Ive been asking that question once a week since February but as I get to take a peek at the new 2013 gear I cant help but have an elevated heart rate. Lets start with Raleigh Bike’s Cross Line and it’s expansion. At the front of this line is the RXC Pro Disc. This race machine sports all the lines of last year’s amazing RXC ( I know, I race one!) with disc brakes, electronic shifting (Ultegra Di2) carbon wheels, and Enve components. Look for Ben Berden on one of these this cross season!
Fortunately for all of us Raleigh is not the only bike company to put a bigger emphasis on cross this year. Felt is going to be offering carbon disc cross bikes with more affordable builds like the Felt FX3 sporting a SRAM Force build. It is very convenient that this model already comes painted to match the 352 Racing team’s kit.
